As most of you all know, photography season is getting back into full swing with the warm weather. I finally got to get caught up with a good friend and her beautiful family of six after a long winter! Talk about well behaved children, these kids were so polite and to my advantage, very, photogenic! It was a perfect photo session to kick off the season. I am always so honored and feel lucky that my friends ask me to photograph their families! Enjoy this small preview!!

I love following this little man through his months up to a year! I am officially releasing his 6 month photos, and I am so excited to see his family's reaction to them. He just suddenly looks so grown up! While we'd like to keep them babies forever, it is such a blessing to see them turn into themselves, with their own little personalities and quirks. His mom tells me he loves to smile, hates taking naps, and is quite efficient with his little army crawl. Thank you God to allow us the miracle to watch our families grow! Happy half way there buddy!
PS- sorry my previews are not all inclusive, you only will get a taste of a few pictures from now on! My son,
I hope one day you will look back at the photos I have taken of you growing up. I hope you will remember the singing, dancing, reading, laughing, weird traditions, outdoor exploring and that most of all, you were loved. I hope that these traditions continue in your own home one day. And when you have your own children, drop the 'things to do' list and go play, and I mean really play with your kids. This doesn't mean the TV is on, cooking dinner, while they tinker with their toys alone in the living room. Alone time is good, but what is important is that your children have very special time with just you and them, doing what they want to do. It's so hard some days when I think about a million things that I need to get done. Today, I took you outside, even though it was freezing. We layered up in jackets, gloves, and snow suits until we couldn't put our arms down at our sides. We went outside in the snow and we danced, sang Christmas songs (even though it's March), ate the snow like ice cream and laughed at each other when we fell down. It was a beautiful day. I love you so, so much! |
