If you are not taking photos of your children most everyday, you better start! I am watching Liam change everyday, both physically and emotionally. I hope one day we will look back at these beautiful babies and ask 'where has the time gone?' But not for a very, very, very long time!
The Dillon family was such a pleasure to take photos for! Their boys are so well behaved (well at least in front of me they were!) and willing to help. We had a lot of fun together, and it hardly felt like work :) There newest little guy totally captures my heart with his wild hair! I'm looking forward to a more family focused session soon, but for now... Welcome baby boy!
Okay, so we are going to hopefully see a big change in the website! I am so excited to see how much I have grown as a photographer! I want to thank each and every family that has booked me, putting a lot of trust in my work. I know I'm no professional yet, but I would like to have a more professional site. I have several big weddings coming up this fall, and I think I'll really get the chance to pull out my 'big guns' for these! In the mean time, happy fall! Please feel free to click on the youtube videos below for some light music while you view your gallery! Liam now weighs 28lbs and stands at 35 inches tall! What a big boy!
This is such a cute family, and despite the craziness, I loved photographing them. I find so many times we try to put our children in these perfectly posed, 'CHEESE' smiles, with props and the photos fall flat (granted we did get one really good one with the LOVE sign!!). I try to encourage children I photograph to play and be as much themselves as they can be, because really, we wouldn't want them to be anything but themselves! Little miss Tinley has a bit of camera phobia, and a wee bit of a rebellious side ;-P I say embrace it! I mean look, are these not beautiful pictures of a real life family? LOVE EM!
I was so excited when Kaye asked me to photograph an engagement session for her wedding this October! I was somewhat nervous because I knew one of my photos, they planned to use for their wedding invitations, and they wanted it to be focused on representing what they loved to do together, ride motorcycles. Once I met up with them though, I realized just how easy it was going to be. These two are perfect together, and their love for one another photographs so perfectly and easily! I am so happy with these pictures and can't wait until their CD comes in for them to see!
It was so much fun taking pictures for this family! I just can't help but love their oldest little boy, because he is so close to my boy in age. He does that same thing, where he will grab your finger and pull you with him to where he wants to go. I find that so sweet! Their girl was so grown up and so helpful! It is nice to have a child that loves to have their picture taken, thank you for being such a sweetheart! And then, of course, the announcement pictures for the newest arrival... so stinking cute :-D
I love to go visit grandma! Even better, she lives in beautiful southern California! Every summer, and most winters, we go to visit and get away from the ordinary routines of our lives. This year we brought Liam and he was able to experience so many things. It was wonderful to watch his face light up at the beach, Disneyland, and the aquarium. I must say, a month later and we are all still recovering. Can't wait to see you again at Christmas time grandma!
Okay, I am needing a baby fix right now : ) These little ones are so special to me, I just love them all, especially that last little guy, hehe!!
